STAINED GLASS

The Catalogue Raisonne of Brangwyn's stained glass was published in July 2010. This is the first time a catalogue Raisonne has been produced as a DVD - a unique concept and destined to become a collector's item. The DVD includes all the standard academic information - each commission has its own PDF file which can be printed out from a Mac or PC. There are also 11 films of the windows, and interviews with Brian Clarke, Peter Cormack, Martin Eidelberg, Martin Harrison and Patrick Reyntiens, specially commissioned music by the jazz composer Mike Westbrook and a fascinating film showing how stained glass is made. The DVD costs £20 (including post and packing, payable by cheque or Paypal) - contact Libby for further details. For those who do not have computers, DVD players or colour printers the academic content has also been published in book form: Frank Brangwyn: Stained Glass. A catalogue raisonne, A4 size, 112 pages, well illustrated in full colour with loads of details of the windows. The book costs £20 (including post and packing) OR alternatively buy the bumper bundle of book AND DVD for £30 (including post and packing) - you can't say fairer than that! My blog gives a light hearted and blow by blow account of the long, exhausting process of producing this catalogue.

The following is a list of Brangwyn's main stained glass commissions (the number in brackets following the title of each Brangwyn work indicates the number by which the work is identified in the Catalogue Raisonne).
